The thing with letters [the spilling rushing swelling pushing rising feelings kind] and me is that after I give it away [with as much courage anger calmness as I can, depending] and stop the editing [fixing adding erasing-but-adding-it-back] of a letter already given & gone and instead imagine [worry dream fear hope] all the person's reaction(s) [questions? feelings thoughts] and all the questions I want to ask [that I hope(d) wish(ed) wonder(ed) would become true real tangible as a memory of seeing answering resolving] I, (days later), or (a week later), or (maybe even a month or two), feel it all just POOF!
